TROUBLING ABSTRACTIONS
"Troubling Abstractions" is my attempt at applying the ideas of "Find Laura" further into "The Return." This is a work in progress and the tentative plan is this:
"Version 1" will be written and uploaded per episode as I watch and review, similar to "Find Laura." "Version 2" will only be written after every episode has been reviewed and gotten a Version 1. In other words, Version 2 will hopefully have a broader, clearer view of the series as a whole.
Traffic Lights
Each episode of "The Return" has an opening with a graphic resembling a traffic light. This page contains a list and a short description of each one.
The "Find Laura" essays ended about halfway through Episode 4 of "The Return." Part 0 of Troubling Abstractions covers the last half of that episode.
Contains spoilers for "Mulholland Drive." The first full part of "Troubling Abstractions," this covers Episode 5 of "The Return."
